We’re here to help and have been working with Workplace from Facebook to rapidly deploy the platform to organisations looking to keep their teams connected and informed during the crisis.
POMT and Facebook are partnering to provide a range of services and in some instances financial and resource support for many organisations in particular those in health and emergency services.
As a health provider, Eastern Health is an organisation that with the outbreak of COVID-19 needed a way to connect with all employees – email, while in place, was not reaching people as rapidly as the pandemic landscape was changing. For many employees working for Eastern Health, accessing email is unfamiliar and an unnatural daily part of their routine and as such important information was not reaching the front line, where it was needed more critically than ever before.
The solution In April 2020, after only two weeks of preparation, Eastern Health successfully launched Workplace from Facebook with the support of POMT. In less than a week from launch more than a quarter of their 10,00 employees activated their accounts and 80% of those are actively engaging in conversations daily.
While we continue to expand our rapid deployment capability and offering this will not come at the expense of the long-term outcomes POMT aspires to deliver for our customers. Each deployment is tailored to the customers unique situation and POMT will ensure we provide a long-term plan to leverage the desired outcomes post the rapid deployment.
