Workplace Technology Consultant | Sydney
Position Overview

In this role you will deliver world class Workplace Technology Consultancy services to a broad range of Australian and international clients. You will work alongside the Sales, Design, & Engineering teams to ensure a complete end to end service is provided including strategy, concept and Detailed Design.

You will leverage your existing experience in the AV consulting realm and your relationships within the Architecture and Design industry to ensure that Workplace Technology is seamlessly integrated into the fabric of our clients projects

You will be an expert in managing the ebbs and flows of project deliverables, ensuring that key stakeholders are managed and deliverables (both internal and external) are executed in line with project milestones

What you will do
  • Facilitate client workshops to establish overall project objectives
  • Develop and maintain an effective relationship with all stakeholders in the project
  • Develop technology concepts to meet client functional and budgetary requirements
  • Develop and Coordinate technology overlays of floor plans and architectural details
  • Advocate for client technology requirement with broader architectural and consulting teams
  • Have a strong commercial acumen to be able to develop business cases for clients to facilitate technology spend
  • Work closely with POMT design & engineering teams to develop detailed designs
  • Work closely with in market vendors to present appropriate solutions to the client and the broader project teams
  • Work closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to transition consulting opportunities into projects and ongoing relationship management
  • Prepare presentations, reports, specifications and proposals
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and digital events

What you will do
  • Both technical and architectural design nous, to be able to effectively communicate & coordinate technology requirements with architects and services consultants
  • Extensive understanding of Audio Visual and Workplace Technology
  • Autonomous, can-do attitude
  • Strong Time Management
  • Possess excellent written communication skills, with the ability to speak to people at all levels of an organisation
  • Interest and appreciation for hardware and software solutions
  • Ability to think on your feet and apply your breadth of knowledge to identifying and solving customer problems
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role with a focus on Workplace Technology
  • Strong relationships within the commercial realestate industry including Architecture, Project Management and Services Consultants
