Diageo Australia is the local arm of Diageo, a global leader in beverage alcohol with an outstanding collection of brands across spirits and beer. The local entity represents over 200 brands including the eponymous Bundaberg Rum. With a staff of over 450 their company culture, workplace environment and technology platforms are critical elements of the business’ success and values.

POMT are proud to have worked continuously with Diageo since 2011 in strategy, implementation and managed service capacities.

Our initial engagement revolved around Audio Visual implementation services and expanded from there with POMT providing workspace management, media distribution and conferencing and collaboration platforms over the years. Throughout this time, we worked closely with the local Diageo teams to balance their requirements in line with global standards and this has often led to innovative local initiatives which feed back into the global standards such as Diageo TV.

One of the most significant advancements for Diageo has been the deployment of Zoom as their global conferencing platform. POMT worked with the local team to become one of the first countries to deploy physical Zoom rooms and developed the solution into a workplace platform providing a seamless and intuitive user experience which is loved by all users. Further we integrated Diageo TV into the Zoom solution maximising the return on investment associated with Diageo’s most recent refurbishment of their Sydney HQ.
